AIRLINE BAGGAGE RULE CHANGES BEGIN TODAY, MAY 5th.

As of May 5, United Airlines, U.S. Airways, Continental Airlines, Northwest Airlines, and Delta Airlines all will now charge $25 for a second checked bag on domestic flights. U.S. Airways, will also charge an additional $100 per bag for checking three or more bags. 

 On the positive side of this story FRONTIER AIRLINES and SOUTHWEST AIRLINES still allow two free checked bags per passenger. In the case of Southwest Airlines, a third checked bag will cost $25 and four bags or more will cost $50 per bag. All the airlines whose websites we checked still use the 62-inch total size and 50-pound weight limitations.
